Rocky Mountains Colorado

Leaving our motorhome in storage, we flew from Tampa to Denver. We spent the night in then Denver then drove to Frisco for a snowy visit to the mountains. After spending a cold night at over 10,000 feet in Leadville with the Voyles’ and James’ we settled in Frisco with our niece Loren and husband Bobby who came to ski at our favorite area, Copper Mountain.

Discovering Dinosaurs

Near Red Rocks Park in Morrison, CO the Natural History Museum highlights local historic and contemporary dinosaur discoveries including Jurassic fossils from the Denver area. The scheduled 1 hour guided tour was so interesting to both the participants and guide, it lasted 2 ½ hours.

With many renewed memories we leave the snow in Colorado to return to sunny and very warm Florida for more adventures from Tampa to the Everglades.
